Jason Goff Joins Matt Spiegel To Form New Midday Show On 670 The Score

CHICAGO, IL (CBS) — Former longtime 670 AM The Score producer, host and reporter Jason Goff will kick off a new era for WSCR 670 The Score. Goff has been named the new midday show co-host. Goff will partner with Matt Spiegel to form the Spiegel and Goff Show, starting Monday, Feb. 23. The show will air weekdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Listen: Goff's first segment in his return to The Score

A frequent Score caller known as "Jason from Evanston," Goff joined The Score in 2000, and his popularity grew when he began producing The Boers and Bernstein Show in 2007. Goff was previously the evening host of Atlanta's 92.9 and hosted SiriusXM NBA Radio's midday "Off the Dribble" show. Goff will provide an exciting new energy, and his insight and opinions are sure to provide intelligent and entertaining sports content.

"Feels good to go back to where I started," Goff said. "There are steps in life, and this is the next one. The Score was more than a radio station for me, it was family."

Goff's experience and past with WSCR 670 The Score will allow a smooth transition for the midday show.

"I'm excited to have Jason back on our team," WSCR Operations Director Mitch Rosen said. "I believe the combination of Matt Spiegel and Jason Goff will be a great winning combination that the Chicagoland audience will love. The show will be interactive through all of our digital platforms."

Goff's extensive sports radio background and knowledge expands across the entire Chicago sports spectrum. The Spiegel and Goff Show will broadcast from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday.  The show can be heard on-air, online at www.670thescore.com/listen and via the Radio.com app for mobile devices.
