Jackknifed Semi Closes Highway Ramp In NW Indiana

LAKE STATION, Ind. (STMW) -- A jackknifed semi has closed the ramp leading from Interstate 65 to Interstate 80 in northwest Indiana for more than two hours Wednesday morning.

The semi became jackknifed about 4 a.m. on a ramp that connects southbound I-65 to westbound I-80 because of the snowy weather, but it's unclear what exactly happened, Indiana State Police said. No one was injured, police said.

The ramp remained closed at 6 a.m., but the police said the scene could be cleared up soon.
