Items From Kennedy Family's Palm Beach Home Going Up For Auction

(CBS) -- A Chicago auction house is selling off pieces of Camelot, reports WBBM's Regine Schlesinger.
 
The collection being auctioned by Leslie Hindman, comes from the Palm Beach, Florida home that belonged to the Kennedy family. It was not only their vacation house but, after John F. Kennedy's election in 1960, became the Winter White House.

Among the items up for sale, a family portrait of the president, first lady and their two young children on Easter Sunday in 1963, just half a year before President Kennedy's assassination.

You can also buy the twin beds that the president and his brother, Joe, slept in as children and then, was where the President and First Lady slept. The auction takes place on January 23 in Florida.
