Inmate Attacks Three Deputies At Bridgeview Courthouse

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 26-year-old man being held at Cook County Jail on robbery charges allegedly attacked three sheriff's deputies while he was at a southwest suburban courthouse on Tuesday.

Timothy Ennis was at the Bridgeview Courthouse for a hearing on robbery charges, when he struck three deputies as he was being taken to a holding area, according to the Cook County Sheriff's Office.

None of the deputies suffered any serious injuries, and all three refused medical treatment.

Ennis was being held without bail, according to court records.
