Illinois Is Closer To Getting Two New Casinos

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Illinois is closer to getting two new casinos.

One is on the border of Homewood and East Hazel Crest. The other is in Waukegan. The gaming board chose it as the finalist for the south suburban license.

The board also picked the finalist for the Waukegan license. Both proposals can go ahead with construction. However, the board still has to approve their final licenses.
