Illini Ranked No. 23 In AP Poll

(CBS) For the first time this season, Illinois (13-2, 2-0) has cracked the AP's Top 25.

The No. 23 Illini opened their Big Ten season with wins over Indiana and Penn State.

Illinois hasn't been nationally ranked since Jan. 14, 2013.

Other Big Ten schools in the Top 25 include No. 3 Ohio State, No. 4 Wisconsin, No. 5 Michigan State and No. 20 Iowa.

The Illini will look to keep their Big Ten record perfect Wednesday against Wisconsin.
