I-Cubs Outfielder Leaves Ronda Rousey A Ticket For Every Home Game
(CBS) If nothing else, Iowa Cubs outfielder Anthony Giansanti is persistent.
In what began as a joke and has just continued ... and continued ... and continued, Giansanti has left a ticket for UFC fighter Ronda Rousey at every single I-Cubs home game since he was called up to Triple-A on July 7, the Des Moines Register reported. In hoping to land a date, Giansanti lets Rousey know by tagging her on Twitter before every game.
There you go @RondaRousey A ticket will be waiting for you at will call... 7 o'clock game in Des Moines. Everyday. pic.twitter.com/kSA1O7Qw4i

"I had no expectations going into this," Giansanti told the Register, adding it was his teammates who urged him to take the act social media, which has created the national attention. "It honestly just started off as a funny joke that's morphed itself into something funny and entertaining.
"She's an incredible fighter. I'm a big UFC fan and she's also incredibly good looking. I mean, why not?"
Giansanti, 26, is actually on the disabled list right now. He's hitting .176 with two RBIs in five games at Triple-A this season. He has yet to reach the majors.
To date, Rousey hasn't taken Giansanti on his offer, but he said he remains hopeful.
