1 Dead After Car Goes Off Expressway Onto Tracks, Catches Fire On I-57

CHICAGO (CBS)-- Emergency crews are responding to a fatal crash on I-57.

A car went off the expressway, landed on the tracks below and then caught on fire around 2 a.m. Friday.

The crash shut down I-57 southbound lanes between 127th and 147th streets. Lanes were reopened around 8:05 a.m.

Another car may have been involved, but details are unknown at this time.
