One Person Killed In Crash Near Illinois 390 In DuPage County

ITASCA, Ill. (CBS) -- One person was killed when a Jeep flipped on its side on the Eisenhower Expressway near the Elgin O'Hare Tollway, or Illinois 390, in DuPage County Thursday afternoon.

The accident happened around 12:17 p.m., Illinois State Police said.

The southbound lanes of I-290 were shut down Thursday afternoon after the serious crash.

The road closure was causing a large slowdown in the area.
