Hot And Sunny Start To The Week, But Milder Temps On The Way

(CBS) -- Chicago will see plenty of sunshine this week, and while Monday will be another hot one, milder conditions are on the way in the middle of the week.

Monday is National Sunglasses Day, and Mother Nature is doing her part in Chicago, with clear skies across the board.

It will be another hot one, with a high near 90 degrees, but temperatures will turn much cooler in the evening, dropping to the low 70s by the end of the day, and the mid 60s by Tuesday morning.

Tuesday's temperatures will hover in the upper 60s and low 70s all day, and Wednesday will get only slightly warmer, with highs in the upper 70s.

Thursday likely will see a return to the 80s, with showers around sunset.

Next weekend will be much milder than the past few days, with highs in the upper 70s and low 80s Friday through Sunday, and mostly sunny skies each day.
