Fire destroys house in Highland Park
CHICAGO (CBS)-- Firefighters responded to a massive house fire in Highland Park Wednesday morning.
Highland Park Deputy Fire Chief Fran Nardomarino said the fire started just before 6 a.m. at 56 Country Lane, just north of Lake Cook Road.
Everyone got out of the home before firefighters arrived, and medics evaluated three people for injuries, but no one was taken to the hospital.
The fire gutted the home, destroying part of the roof.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
