Group Captured On Video Damaging Cars In Naperville Garage

NAPERVILLE (CBS) -- A group of brazen criminals are caught on surveillance cameras stomping on the roofs of several cars in a Naperville parking deck.

CBS 2's Sandra Torres reports, the incident happened last Wednesday in a garage located at 75 E. Chicago.

Police now have a clear image of those responsible for the crime.

A group of six young men were captured jumping on vehicles, while a young woman recorded them on her cell phone.

Naperville residents had not heard about what happened until CBS 2 showed them surveillance video.

"I'm surprised," said Julie McNicholas. "They're intentionally causing the damage jumping with a lot of strength and look you can even see the damage"

Police say four cars had major damage to the body panels. One even ended up with a broken rear window.

The six men are described to be in their 20s.

Naperville Police are offering a $1,000 reward for anyone with information that will lead to the arrest of these suspects.
