Ground stop issued at O'Hare Airport due to an equipment outage

A ground stop was issued at O'Hare Airport on Saturday morning. 

According to airport officials, departures are grounded due to an "equipment outage." Delays of nearly 40 minutes have been reported at the airport.

Departures are expected to resume at 12:15 p.m., according to an alert.
