Groper On The Loose In Ravenswood: Police

(CBS) – Police are seeking a suspect who allegedly groped two women this week in the Ravenswood neighborhood.

The first incident occurred around 11:20 p.m. Sunday near Damen and Sunnyside when a male offender sneaked up behind a woman, reached under her skirt and touched her inappropriately, Chicago Police said in a community alert issued Friday.

When the victim began screaming, the offender fled down an alley.

In the second incident, around 2 a.m. Monday, a woman was walking near Damen and Lawrence when was approached from behind. In this case, the suspect grabbed her around the waist and tried to reach under her dress, police said.

The victim reportedly broke free, and the suspect fled.
