Governor-Elect Bruce Rauner Thanks Supporters In Pilsen

(CBS) -- Illinois Governor-Elect Bruce Rauner made a stop in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood Sunday to thank supporters.

WBBM's Mariam Sobh reports Rauner and Lieutenant Governor Elect Evelyn Sanguinetti met supporters inside a Mexican bakery at 18th and Ashland.

"We've been here in Pilsen and Little Village many times during the campaign," Rauner said. "We look forward to coming back many times after we take office."

He says in the meantime, he hopes outgoing Governor Pat Quinn doesn't take on any significant issues and instead leaves things for Rauner and his team to tackle.
