Gov. Pritzker Says He Plans To Attend Lollapalooza, Urges People To Wear Masks In Crowds

CHICAGO (CBS)</strong -- Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker will be among the throngs of concert fans at Lollapalooza when it kicks off in Grant Park next week.

Some have expressed concerns about the music festival because of a recent spike in COVID-19 cases.

But Pritzker said he feels safer that the event is outdoors, and concertgoers are required to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test.

He also encouraged people to wear masks in large crowds.
