Glenbrook South High School unveiling new health center Friday

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Glenbrook High School District 225 has opened a new health center for students and staff.

A ribbon cutting for the center at Glenbrook South High School is planned for Friday morning.

The facility is meant to provide students and staff in the district with medical care, and treat those who may need more complex care in an effort to keep kids in the classroom.

The Glenbrook School Health Center will be staffed by Advocate Health.

Students at Glenbrook North High School and Glenbrook Off-Campus may request transportation to the center when they schedule appointments.

Services will be free for students and staff.
