Glen Ellyn Board Members To Vote On Temporary Ban Of Marijuana Shops

CHICAGO (CBS)-- Tuesday night, Glen Ellyn board members will vote on temporarily banning non-medical marijuana shops.

If the ban stands, the board will revisit the topic in six months to a year after cannabis becomes legal in Illinois.

Board members plan to use the time to see how other towns are affected by cannabis sales.

Starting January 1, recreational marijuana will be legal to buy from licensed Illinois vendors.
