Girl, Woman Bitten By Dog In Gage Park

(STMW) -- An 8-year-old girl and a 56-year-old woman were bitten by a dog Tuesday afternoon in the Gage Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

They were attacked about 4 p.m. in the 5100 block of South Fairfield, according to Chicago Police.

Both were bitten in the leg and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where their conditions were stabilized.

Police did not immediately have information about the dog's owner.
