Girl Saved After Car Flips Into Creek

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Rescue crews saved a young girl who was trapped in a car after it flipped into a creek.

A witness said the girl and a woman were headed down First Street, west of Sycamore on Wednesday when the car drove off the road and into the water.

The woman was able to get out on her own, but crews had to lift the car to get the girl out of the back seat.

The woman was treated at a local hospital and released.

The girl was listed in serious condition, police said.
