Driver Fatally Shot While Driving In Garfield Ridge

CHICAGO (CBS)-- One minute a man was driving in the Garfield Ridge neighborhood and the next, gunfire engulfed his car.

The 23-year-old driver was fatally shot Tuesday night on 45^th and Knox.

His car plowed into a fence.

Officials said the driver suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at Mount Sinai Hospital.

No one is in custody.
