Fundraising Campaign Would Restore Historic Pilsen Church's Towers
(CBS) -- A parish in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood is trying to save its historic church towers.
Richard Olszewski is a volunteer with St. Adalbert's, one of the oldest Polish Catholic Churches in the area.
He says the two towers attached to the church are in need of $3 million in repairs.
Olszewski says restoration boosters hope the Archdiocese can find the money to help repair the towers.
In the meantime, parish members have turned to technology and are crowdfunding through a campaign called Save the Towers.
