John Fox: Kyle Long To Remain At Tackle

(CBS) After the Minnesota Vikings sacked Bears quarterback Jay Cutler five times on Sunday, Chicago coach John Fox told WBBM Newsradio's George Ofman that he think's offensive lineman Kyle Long's best position is still tackle. Long moved to right tackle just before the season started and played well for long stretches, but he's struggled in recent weeks.

"I see him as a tackle, I think that's the best decision for him," Fox said. "I think any time you change positions it takes a minute, but he's very athletic and I think that's probably his best position. You can't predict exactly what's going to happen in the future, but I think he's going to be there for the rest of this season."

Long made the switch to tackle after making the Pro Bowl as a guard in his first two NFL seasons.
