Four People, Including Pregnant Woman, Wounded In Morgan Park Shooting

(CBS) -- Four people, including a pregnant woman, were wounded in a shooting in the Morgan Park neighborhood Saturday, authorities said.

The Chicago Fire Department received a call on the shooting in the 1400 block of W. 114th Place at 11:43 a.m.

Two men in their 20s were taken to Stroger Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Two women were taken to Advocate Christ Hospital. One of the women, a 19-year-old who is pregnant, was hit in the leg and back and was in critical condition, police said.

The other woman, 20, was also shot in the back. A man who identified himself as that victim's godfather said she is expected to be okay.

Neighbors tell CBS 2's Sandra Torres that someone fired shots at a house while people sat outside on a porch.

"It's sad because probably the person who got shot probably didn't have nothing to do with what was going on out here," Darryll Cook said.
