Former President Bill Clinton To Attend Inauguration For Mayor Emanuel, Aldermen

(CBS) -- Former U.S. President Bill Clinton will attend the inauguration ceremony for Mayor Rahm Emanuel and 50 aldermen on Monday, according to a spokeswoman for the city of Chicago.

Emanuel worked for Clinton when he was the governor of Arkansas and later in the White House for Clinton's two terms. Clinton's wife Hillary is currently running for president.

A spokeswomen for the city of Chicago said in a statement, "President Clinton recently visited Chicago in June 2014 when he joined the Mayor to tour one of the early childhood learning centers that has been a focal point of Mayor Emanuel's work to expand high-quality pre-k opportunities to all four-year-olds in need."

The inauguration takes place at 10:30 a.m. at the Chicago Theatre.
