Former Batavia Man Missing In Japan Located

(CBS) -- A man originally from Batavia who now lives in Japan and was missing for several days after going hiking on a mountain has been found safe.

Mike Blodgett, 35, was last seen Monday morning as he started a hiking trip on his own in the Nara Prefecture region outside Osaka, according to a statement from his family, but his sister, Anne Victory, who still lives in the Chicago area, told WBBM on Sunday her brother was found OK, might be suffering from frostbite after being out in the elements alone for a few days, but is being treated at a hospital and is expected to be OK.
