For Some, Bitter Winter Weather Doesn't Shut Down Smoke Breaks

(CBS)— As most people scurried inside to get out of the cold, a small band of stalwarts—mostly men—eagerly left their office buildings at regular intervals Thursday to stand out in the elements.

WBBM's Steve Miller talked with a few smokers who won't let the winter blast keep them down.

"About two more cigarettes and it'll be time to run back in," smoker James Mair said.

One man insisted he's going to quit smoking,

"I got a kid on the way, so, that's going to be my motivation to stop. Just getting my last few in before the kid gets here."
