Five Shot, Including 2-Year-Old Girl, In West Englewood

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A toddler was among five people shot in the West Englewood neighborhood late Thursday night.

The shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. in the 6200 block of South Honore Street. Two men, two women, and a 2-year-old girl were wounded.

Police said a 25-year-old man was shot several times, and a 31-year-old man was shot in the leg. Both were taken to Holy Cross Hospital, but their injuries were not considered life-threatening.

Two women, both 22, were taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County. One had been shot in the buttocks, and the other had been shot in both legs. Their conditions were stabilized at the hospital.

A 2-year-old girl was grazed by a bullet, and was in good condition at Holy Cross.
