Five Seriously Hurt In South Loop Crash

CHICAGO (STMW) -- Five people were seriously hurt in a crash Thursday night in the South Loop.

The five-vehicle crash happened at 9:30 p.m. at West Congress Parkway and South Wells Street, according to Fire Media Affairs.

Five people, all adults, were hospitalized in in serious-to-critical condition after the crash, according to Fire Media.

Two people were taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, two people were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, and one person was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.

Police could not immediately provide information about the crash.
