Five Arrested After Brawl At Navy Pier

(CBS) -- A huge fight between dozens of teens has led to the arrests of five people Friday night at Navy Pier.

Chicago Police were forced to temporarily close the pier right in the middle of Winter Wonderfest. They investigated reports of a disturbance caused by groups of teenagers.

One worker at Navy Pier told the Sun-Times he saw at least 100 teens involved in eight different fights.

Those five people arrested were charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct. They are all males, ranging in age from 14 to 22.

Anyone attending the Winter Wonderfest at Navy Pier will have to be accompanied by a legal guardian, who must show an ID to get in, according to a Navy Pier spokesman.
