Firefighters Respond To Fire On Ewing Avenue

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Firefighters quickly put out an early morning fire Thursday in the East Side neighborhood.

It happened at Ewing Avenue near 99th Street just before 5:00 Thursday morning. Crews searched the second floor where the windows were broken out.

It's not clear if anyone lived there or if anyone was injured. No word yet on how the fire started.
