3 Firefighters Injured After Staircase Collapses In West Rogers Park Fire

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Chicago Fire officials say three firefighters were injured while responding to a fire in the 6100 block of North Hoyne in Chicago's West Rogers Park neighborhood.

CBS 2's Charlie De Mar reports a stairway collapsed while firefighters were inside the stairwell.

The Chicago Fire Department says the two firefighters suffered non-life threatening injuries and were taken to local hospitals. An additional firefighter was treated on the scene.
