Fire rips through appliance store in Maywood, Illinois
A fire raged through an appliance store and an adjacent building in the west Chicago suburb of Maywood early Monday.
The fire broke out in the early-morning hours at 10 N. 5th Ave. in Maywood, between Lake and Main streets.
Flames were seen raging inside the building, as firefighters worked to knock them down.
Information from Maywood fire officials on whether anyone hurt, or what caused the fire, was not immediately available.
