Fire Breaks Out Near Forest View Canal

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A platform along a ship canal caught fire in the village of Forest View.

The incident happened near the Apex Oil Company.

The U.S. Coast Guard says some sort of product caught fire on the platform. Diesel fuel and some asphalt went into the water.

Members of the Environmental Protection Agency are testing for pollution in the water.
