Female Standing On Street Corner Killed In Northwest Side Crash

(CBS) -- A female standing on a street corner on the Northwest Side was killed in a crash early Tuesday evening, according to police.

Police say vehicles struck each other in the 5900 block of West Belmont at 6:40 p.m. and drove into the victim, whose age is not known. The victim was taken to Our Lady of Resurrection Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
