FBI Offers Reward For Information On Woodlawn Bank Robbery

CHICAGO (STMW) -- The FBI is offering a reward for information that may lead to the arrest of a man who robbed a Woodlawn neighborhood bank last April.

About 2:20 p.m. on April 18, the man entered a Chase bank at 6650 S. Stony Island Av. and attempted a non-takeover robbery, the FBI said.

The man is 5-foot-11 and has a medium build, the FBI said. He was wearing a dark coat and a Packer's hat during the attempted robbery.

Though the FBI says it is offering a reward, the amount was not specified.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at (312) 421-6700.
