Family Members Of Missing Mexican Students Join Chicago March Calling For Justice

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Some parents and other family members of 43 students who disappeared in Mexico last September arrived in Chicago as part of an international campaign for justice.

Members of the "Caravana-43" are spending Easter weekend at rallies and marches, hoping to bring attention to their missing children. They started at UIC and later marched from Providence of God Church to St. Pius Church.

"We want to ask the American public to become aware of this issue and support a reinvestigation of the disappearance of the 43 students," marcher Antonio Zabala said.

The 43 students were studying to become teachers. Their pictures have become a symbol for all of those who have disappeared or been killed in Mexico over the last nine years.
