Escaped Indiana Inmate Captured In Texas

(CBS) -- Escaped Lake County Jail inmate Richard Campos and his girlfriend Elysia Jeronimo have been captured in San Antonio, Texas late Tuesday evening, according to the Lake County sheriff's department.

Campos was working as a jail trustee on laundry detail at about noon Saturday, when he walked away from his work assignment.

The Lake County sheriff's department has filed to have the two extradited back to Indiana.
