Police Arrest Carjacking Suspect On Eisenhower Expressway

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A carjacking suspect was taken into custody Friday morning after a police pursuit in the western suburbs.

State Police said it started as a carjacking in Aurora just before 6:00 a.m.

The stolen vehicle was involved in an accident and the driver proceeded onto the Eisenhower expressway.

Troopers pursued the vehicle and were finally able to pin in the driver near First Avenue where he was arrested.
