Eight Injured In Three-Car Crash On Southwest Side

CHICAGO (STMW) -- At least eight people were injured -- four seriously -- after a three-car crash in the Archer Heights neighborhood on the Southwest Side Wednesday morning.

Parademics responded to the crash near the corner of Archer Avenue and Keeler Avenue around 4:45 a.m., for which an EMS Plan 1 was called, said police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro. One of the cars rolled over, Alfaro said.

Eight people were taken to area hospitals, and three more people refused medical attention, Fire Media Affairs said.

Four of the injured were in serious-to-critical condition, one person was in fair-to-serious condition and three others were in good condition, Fire Media Affairs said.
