Man Stabbed To Death In East Garfield Park, Girlfriend In Custody

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A woman is in custody, after a man was stabbed to death late Sunday night in the East Garfield Park neighborhood.
Police said a 24-year-old man got into an argument with his girlfriend inside a 1st floor apartment near Madison and Whipple streets around 11:15 p.m.
The man was stabbed in the chest, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The girlfriend was taken into custody, and Area North detectives are investigating.
