3 Shot In East Garfield Park

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Three people were shot Friday morning in the East Garfield Park neighborhood.

Police said three men were sitting on crates on the sidewalk near the corner of Flournoy Street and Francisco Avenue around 8:40 a.m., when four people drove past in a Dodge Charger and began shooting.

A 22-year-old man was shot in the head and body, and took himself to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was in critical condition Friday morning.

A 32-year-old man suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the body, and was in serious but stable condition at Stroger Hospital.

A 45-year-old man was shot in the right hand, and was stabilized at Stroger Hospital.

Police said the Dodge Charger fled north on Francisco and then east on Harrison Street after the shooting.

No one was in custody Friday morning.
