Early Voting Begins Monday For Illinois Primary

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Early voting begins Monday for Illinois' March 18 primary.

The Chicago elections board says in the city, early voting will take place at 51 sites. All are open Mondays through Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.. Other options - you can vote by mail but, you to apply either online or mail in a form for your ballot within the next few days.

Ballots have to be returned by mail on or before March 17. And the final option is to vote in person at your precinct on election day, March 18. Early voting runs through March 15. Among the offices up for election this year: governor, congressional representatives and one of Illinois' two Senate seats.
