4 injured in DuSable Lake Shore Drive crash near Hollywood Avenue
Northbound DuSable Lake Shore Drive is closed due to a crash near Hollywood Avenue in Chicago's Edgewater neighborhood on Monday morning.
A 25-year-old Nissan driver was heading northbound on Dusable Lake Shore Drive when he rear-ended a Honda HR-V, driven by a 64-year-old man, and then rear-ended a Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by a 43-year-old man.
Nissan driver suffered internal injuries and was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital in critical condition. A 21-year-old man who was a passenger in the Nissan was taken to the same hospital with minor injuries.
Both Honda and Chevrolet drivers were taken to Weiss Hospital in fair condition for back and shoulder pain, police said.
The Nissan driver was cited for speeding.
