5 injured when dump truck hits 4 cars, ends up in ditch near Libertyville
The roads were wet, but it's unclear if that's what caused a dump truck to lose control and hit four cars on Wednesday in unincorporated Lake County near Libertyville.
The truck ended up in a ditch at Route 137 and Brookhaven Drive. Five people were hurt; four of them went to the hospital.
The Illinois Department of Transportation salted the road as a precaution while cleaning up after the crash.
