Doxxing Warning From Dept. Of Homeland Security

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Earlier this week CBS 2 reported on Chicago police officers targeted in online attacks.

Now the Department of Homeland Security is warning about "doxxing."

That's where personal information such as home addresses, phone numbers and email is leaked online.

Several Chicago officers have already been victims of doxxing. The concern is the information could lead to real-life attacks by violent extremists.
