Dexter Fowler Back In Lineup For Cubs

(CBS) Cubs center fielder Dexter Fowler is returning to the lineup for Tuesday evening's game against the Dodgers after sitting out Monday's game with heel soreness, manager Joe Maddon said on 670 The Score.

Fowler had been bothered by the heel soreness for a few days, but the injury doesn't appear to be serious. Fowler is hitting .316 with a .433 on-base percentage.

In other news, Maddon reiterated that he doesn't believe right-hander Jason Hammel's ailment that forced him to leave Monday's start after two innings was anything more than a cramp. The Cubs will know more on that later Tuesday.
