Derrick Rose Out Against Grizzlies With Illness

(CBS) Bulls point guard Derrick Rose will miss his second straight game when he sits out Friday night's game against the Grizzlies with an illness. Rose didn't make the trip to Memphis.

After playing in 11 straight games, Rose sat out Thursday's home win against the Knicks with what's been reported to be a stomach virus. Friday will mark the 10th game Rose has missed this season. The first eight were for ankle and/or hamstring injuries.

Bulls center Joakim Noah (right ankle) is probably to play against the Grizzlies, while forward Taj Gibson (right ankle) is questionable. Gibson sat out Thursday as well, while Noah returned after missing the previous four games.

At 21-4, the Grizzlies have the NBA's second-best record.

Chicago hosts Toronto on Monday night.
