Deion Sanders Says Johnny Manziel Has 'Ghetto Tendencies'
(CBS) Leading up to the NFL Draft every spring, no one is in the fishbowl quite like quarterbacks. And few signal-callers have been a lightning rod of attention, both good and bad, quite like Texas A&M's Johnny Manziel.
In the latest drama, NFL Network analyst and Hall of Famer Deion Sanders said that Manziel has "ghetto tendencies" during an interview with the Tom Joyner Morning Show.
"I love Johnny Football," Sanders said. "See, the reason people won't accept Johnny Football is because Johnny Football has ghetto tendencies. I love Johnny Football."
Sanders shed more light on what he meant by "ghetto tendencies."
"Because he was successful, he made it, and he let you all know he made it, and he was cocky, he was flamboyant, and he let you know," Sanders said.
It's important to note that Sanders reiterated of Manziel, "I love him," but his take was nonetheless interesting.
Manziel is a candidate to go No. 1 overall to the Texans in May's draft.
