Two Defendants In Officer's 2010 Shooting Death Found Guilty
(CBS) -- Jurors on Thursday convicted two defendants for their roles in the killing a Chicago police officer in 2010.
Paris McGee, 24, and Toyious Taylor, 29, were two of three suspects charged in the death of Thomas Wortham IV, who was shot during a robbery attempt outside his father's home.
McGee and Taylor allegedly acted as getaway drivers for cousins, Brian Floyd and Marcus Floyd.
Wortham's father testified last week that he saw men approach his son before the shooting. The elder Wortham, a retired police officer, said he ran into his house and retrieved a weapon and fired at the suspects. A fourth man was fatally wounded.
